Jane Robson Purvis was the daughter of John Pringle and Elizabeth Halliday she was born at 73 Brickgarth, Easington Lane, County Durham, England and baptised in Hetton Lyons Church on 28th Jan 1910. Jane had six brothers John Pringle : William : Benjamin : Frank : Charles Thomas and James and two sisters Sarah Elizabeth and Janet Pringle
