Helen Purvis was the daughter of Thomas Purves and Mary Stewart she was born in Borthwick, Midlothian, Scotland and worked as a house servant. Helen had three brothers John : William : Thomas and three sisters Ann : Marion and Mary . Helen Died in Pathhead, Crichton, Midlothian, Scotland of chronic rheumatism which she had for many years.
